If you haven’t notice, Facebook quietly introduced a way for us -Facebook users- to find friends in a particular City sorted out from our friends list.
Facebook basically allow us to filter friends by College, High School, or Work – but this time, they integrated a new feature to make it easier for us to browse our friends. We can now browse our friends by their location or City.
To do that, simply follow this instruction:
Login to your Facebook account, then go to the Friends page. (If you can’t find it, you can click this link.) On the left pane, you can see the “Search Friends” box- and click the Browse option. On the right pane, use the dropdown menu to browse your friends by network. You have to select “City”. Another option will open which will allow you to select different cities scraped from your friends profiles. Then select the cities you want to view. Once you’ve selected a particular city, a list of friends from that city will be displayed.
Very simple trick, right? This is actually a very precise feature on browsing Facebook friends and very valuable for people who are trying to find long-lost friends who might just be located nearby.
