You have already learned about the iPad features, aren’t you?

And a little excitement to grab one is bothering you. iPad specs are so promising that you will really have to think twice whether to turn down your iPhone or the likes, and then grab an Apple iPad this March. Who says doesn’t like to get one of this amazing gadget? Well, probably you have realized that you will still be compromised with the features Steve Jobs introduced the other day.

Here, I am going to share you my personal insights on what you need to consider before buying an i-Pad.

No 3G support for Verizon

iPad will come with a Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n) or Wi-Fi plus 3G technologies. You will have the option to buy an iPad with Wi-Fi only or with both Wi-Fi and 3G. Of course with a more expensive pre-paid monthly subscription plan starting $14 for 250MB of data. But, you have to think of the ISP. 3G is only available for AT&T users. No 3G support for Verizon subscribers.

No built-in camera

Come to think of it… You have been using your iPhone with camera, enjoy your Macbook with camera, not even to mention iPod Nano for video. But, wait a minute- if you are a frequently use camera, then I think iPad is not for you.

No replaceable battery

iPad has an impressive 10-hour battery life or a month of idle time. Very impressive, indeed. The only problem is, you can’t replace the battery yourself because it’s sealed. Though, the battery is chargeable- what if it went dead?

No New User Interface

i-Pad features include a large Multi-Touch screen that lets you see the web. You can just use your finger to navigate through the web or pinch to zoom in or out the photos. This amazing feature was also built into the iPhone. What do you think is the difference between the iPad and iPhone user interface? I think it’s only the size of the screen… But, still very impressive!

No flash video support

The web browser used on iPad is Safari (of course). However, there’s a very common issue when it comes to Flash plugins. If you happened to install Flash plugin on your iPhone, then you have already a thought for iPad- probably the same issue before that Safari doesn’t support Flash.

No TV subscription

I just mentioned that 3G support is for AT&T only. If you think of watching your favorite TV shows on iTunes, just consider it as a wish. It has been reported that TV executives and Apple didn’t close a subscription deal. So, no TV on iPad.

Language support

If you can understand any of these languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Russian- I think you will definitely love iPad.

There are actually many features of iPad you have to consider before buying, including its contribution to a “greener earth” campaign. The bottom-line is, Steve Jobs’ i-Pad is just another breakthrough.
