As a blogger, you should know the top search engines since it’s the SE that drive more traffic to a blog.
Just like this blog, the Google Analytics for the month of January showed that almost 67% of the traffic came from organic searches.
It’s also important to know what search engine is on top, so you would be able to apply an SEO effectively. Though search algorithms constantly change, we don’t have any control over that change rather than doing the proper SEO in which targeted SE will like, and never attempt to penalize your blog.

Hitwise US released the latest ranking of Search Engines by volume of searches for the 4 weeks ending Feb. 6. And still, Google hit the top. Take a look at this stat:

1. www.google.com 71.35%
2. search.yahoo.com 14.60%
3. www.bing.com 9.56%
4. www.ask.com 2.55%
5. www.aolsearch.com 1.06%
