Before I start, let me clear this first. It’s not Smartbro Smart TV, but Smartbro Surf TV.
It’s a new product from Smart Communications which was launched yesterday. It allow subscribers to surf the web directly from the TV.

It’s different from the PLDT Watchpad, in a way that you are not going to surf and at the same time watch TV from your PC. Smart Bro SurfTV includes a kit composed of a keyboard, mouse, remote control, and the widely used Smartbro Plug-it device pre-loaded with Php 100 worth of load. To use this device, you’ll only need to plug the modem on the TV’s RCA port and everything are set.

The kit is worth roughly Php 4,500 and is available at Smart Wireless centers. Same as the usual Smart internet cost, every internet access using Smartbro Surf TV will cost you Php 10 per 30 minutes. Before buying this device, you need to make sure that you have 3G or HSPA coverage in your location.
