Activating Smart MMS, 3G and GPRS Setup for Internet Browsing

Just recently, I talked about T.G.I.Freeday- a free mobile phone internet access for Smart subscribers.
It looks like Smart is becoming generous to its subscribers as they are doing this every Friday ever since the promo was launched. Some are still unable to use their mobile phones to browse the internet, probably because their handsets are not pre-configured in the store. Here is a detailed and updated guide to configure your mobile phones so you would enjoy internet browsing, download services, and send SMS photos and videos. Thanks @SMARTCares!

Step 1: Download MMS and GPRS phone settings from Smart
For MMS settings, text SET MMS and send to 211.
For GPRS settings, text SET GPRS and send to 211.

Step 2: Activate Smart MMS and Smart GPRS Settings
To activate MMS, text MMS ON to 333.
To activate GPRS, text GPRS ON to 333.

Note: A configuration settings will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS. Just select “Save All” to save the settings in your phone. If prompted with for a PIN, just key in 1234. Wait for the confirmation message from SMART once MMS and GPRS have already been activated.
