For those who have been waiting for the official launch of iPhone 5 here in the Philippines, we got an exciting and perhaps, pretty good news for you! Apple on Monday finally announced the release of its latest smartphone in the Philippines which is slated next week, December 14th! The iPhone 5 launch in the Philippines is part of Apple’s plans to push the release of the handset along with more than 50 additional countries to have it available in stores this month. Sounds like a perfect timing for Christmas bonuses, eh?

While we expect the iPhone 5 to be available in Apple Philippines Online Store and so with the Cupertino tech giant’s premium resellers across the country beginning December 14th, local telcos are still yet to announce its Plan pricing schedules for the handset. Each telco still has to announce its respective release date of the iPhone 5 as well.
