NBI Clearance Online Application System Available Starting this Friday

It has been all over the news for the past couple of weeks. The long, disappointing lines people fall into each day in different areas just to get an NBI Clearance — a requirement in getting a job or traveling abroad, among others. It’s time consuming and for others, it’s annoying. But that is about to come to an end as DOJ announced that starting January 24, an NBI clearace online application system will be available.

In a press release dated January 23, 2014, the Department of Justice announces the availability of a new way to apply for an NBI Clearance through eClearance — an online Registration system. Following the new implementation of a new NBI system, the NBI eClearance system promises to “implement solutions to progressively eliminate queues and simplify processes” said DOJ secretary Leila de Lima.
