Another day, another leak. Just a few days ago, we wrote about the leaked test firmware for the Galaxy S4. And now, the test firmware for the S4’s bigger cousin, the Galaxy Note 3 has been reportedly leaked. More details after the break.
In a yet another exclusive, SamMobile (and we’re getting a fan) did it again. Just days after breaking the news on the leaked Test Firmware for the SG S4, the guys at SamMobile managed to find the leaked Test Firmware (N9005XXUENA6) for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005).
Sporting the same changes found on the Android Kitkat 4.4.2 for the Galaxy S4, users will find a camera shortcut on the lockscreen (iOS 7, anyone?), minor UI changes as well as performance boost and benchmark improvements. The official update is expected to roll out in half a week to a couple of weeks (or even months), depending on countries and carrier support.
And, as a bonus, we’re posting the instructions provided by SamMobile on how to update your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to the leaked test firmware. Do keep in mind that this is not the final build, so bugs are expected, and nothing is final until Samsung releases the official firmware via a software update. And finally, update at your own risk. We here at CebuTechBlogger will not be responsible should you choose to update and accidentally brick your beloved SG Note 3 🙂
