Available in 11-inch and 13-inch models, Apple’s new MacBook Air notebooks utilize solid state flash storage making it faster and lighter (2.3 pounds for the 11-inch model and 2.9 pounds for the 13-inch) as compared to typical notebooks we’ve seen. These next generation MacBooks come with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Apple’s operating system for its Mac product line; as well as the iLife, Apple’s suite for multimedia applications.
