Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300 announced! Features Windows 8.1 and Android 4.2.2 OS Switches in a Press of a Button!

Another Asus product announced just recently at the CES 2014 that is worth checking out is the Transformer Book Duet TD300. It’s a laptop and tablet hybrid running on Windows 8.1. And with a simple press of a button, it switches OS, turning into a full pledged Android JellyBean 4.2.2 tablet. More details below.

The Duet TD300 is the newest member of the Transformer Book line of the Taiwan based multi national computer hardware and electronics company announced at CES 2014. Offering a 13.3 inch ( 1920 x 1080 pixels ) Full HD IPS touch screen display, the Duet TD300 also features a quad core Intel core i7 equipped with an Intel HD graphics and 4 GB of RAM.

The tablet itself packs a 128 GB SSD storage and you can expand more storage of up to 64 GB via a microSD card, while the dock houses to up to 1 TB of HDD, alongside with USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, LAN and HDMI ports, among others. Equipped with an ASUS patented technology, the Transformer Book Duet TD300 allows a fast, smooth and seamless OS switch in a press of a button, making it the first Android tablet to run on natively on an Intel Core processor.
