Asus Transformer Book Trio, new Transformer Pad and Memo Tablets now Available in PH!

The Taiwan based multi-national computer hardware and electronics company Asus has announced the availability of 4 new devices they are offering in the country, namely the Asus Transformer Book Trio, Transformer Pad TF701T, MeMo Pad 10 and MeMo Pad 8. Asus Logo Transformer Book Trio Asus Transformer Book Trio As the name suggests, the Transformer Book Trio is like 3 devices rolled into a single laptop/tablet hybrid. First, it’s a full featured Windows 8 laptop powered by either an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor with 4GB of RAM and 500 GB of internal storage. Like any convertible laptop, you can detach the keyboard dock, making it an 11.6 inch tablet. With a switch of a button, it turns into an Android JellyBean 4.2 tablet with an Intel Atom Z2560 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB up to 64 GB of EMMC storage. What’s very interesting is that when the keyboard is detached, you can connect an external display to it via the MiniDisplay port or the Micro HDMI port, making it a workstation PC. The Transformer Book Trio has a suggested retail price of Php 49,445 for the Intel Core i5 and Php 54,995 for the faster Intel Core i7 variant.

Transformer Pad TF701T Asus Transformer Pad TF701TSporting a 10.1 inch touch display, the Transformer Pad TF701T comes with a 1.9GHz quad core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor with 2 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of internal EMMC storage, Android JellyBean 4.3 and a battery that promises to last up to 17 hours of use on a single charge. The display also features a 10 point multitouch, and a 178-degree viewing angle. This Transformer Pad is priced at Php 27,995 that comes with the keyboard dock that houses an SD card reader, as well as 1 USB port.

MeMo Pad 10 and MeMo Pad 8 Asus MeMo Pad 8 and 10 The MeMo Pad 10 and MeMo Pad 8 both features a 1.6GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM, Android JellyBean 4.2 and Miracast support. The 8-incher MeMo Pad 8 comes with a 16 GB built-in storage, 5 megapixel and 1.2 megapixel back and front cameras, a 15Wh battery and retails for Php 9,995.

The bigger MeMo Pad 10 on the other hand features an 8 GB or 16 GB of internal EMMC storage, 2 megapixel and 1.2 megapixel back and front cameras, a 9.5 hours of use on a single charge and comes with a price tag of Php 13,995.
