Bing Powering Yahoo! Search Results in the US and Canada

We already knew that Bing is powering Facebook search.
And just more than a year since it was renamed – Bing is already powering Yahoo! – but only in the US and Canada for now. Other locations will have the integration in weeks or months ahead. We have heard last month that Microsoft begun testing Bing results in Yahoo! Search, and finally they have moved forward with the transition.

We can recall that Bing and Yahoo! entered into a 10-year partnership a year ago. And one of the main goals under the terms is for Microsoft to become the search engine behind Yahoo, while the Califonia-based SE company will focus on advertising.

So what’s next? In a blog post, Satya Nadella – Senior Vice President, Bing Online Services Division, said:

We continue to work hard on the migration to adCenter, and are optimistic about completing this phase later this fall. As we have said all along, our primary goal is to provide advertisers with a quality transition experience in 2010, while being mindful of the holiday season.

Though the Bing and Yahoo! Partnership started hitting their milestones, the question is how far they can beat the search giant?
