It was back in October when it was first leaked that the Philippine local mobile brand, Cherry Mobile, will be releasing a new Android Smartphone dubbed as W900 LTE capable of delivering fast, 4G LTE speeds, making it the first LTE capable phone by a local brand!
And before 2013 ends, specifically last December 30, Cherry Mobile announced through its Facebook page that the W900 LTE phone compatible with Smart and Globe LTE bands is now available in stores for just Php 11,499 a pop. Aside from the fast LTE speeds, the phone features a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 px) 10-point multitouch HD display powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 processor, with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage expandable with a microSD card, 12 megapixel auto-focus back-side illuminated (BSI) shooter with LED flash, 2 megapixel front shooter and Android Jellybean 4.2 out-of-the-box. The phone is a refreshed version of the previously announced single-core CM W900 Dragon.
If you’re interested in getting one, then you should check out Cherry Mobile kiosks near you, as the W900 LTE phone is now available nationwide. Word has it that the phone comes in with a free Powerbank as part of a Cherry Mobile promotion.
We don’t have much to say about this phone, of course not until we get our own hands on it. Anybody here has been rocking this new phone so far? Please do share your experience below. [via]
