Explore September 11 Photos using 9/11 Memorial App for iPhone

Today is the 9th anniversary of the shameless terror happened to the World Trade Center and other locations in the US.
Such act of terrorism is hard to forget, and people around the world always look back to its memories. If you are one of those wishing to check photos of the unforgettable “September 11 Attacks”, you don’t need to search for it through search engines. If you own an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad – you can make use of the new app called 9/11 Memorial.

9/11 Memorial is an app for iDevices created by the National September 11 Memorial & Museum as a guide to understanding 9/11 through the eyes of who witnessed the events. 9/11 Memorial allows users to tour the area around the World Trade Center, accompanied by audio and photo narration. It also allows users to explore the photos/images of the 9/11 related events in Augmented Reality-technology mode. There is also an interactive timeline of the events and aftermath with links to witnesses’ photos taken.

9/11 Memorial app can also operate in offline mode for non-US visitors, in which all tour contents are still accessible. You can fire up your iTunes or just go directly here to learn more about the app.
