FLV Player Facebook App | a Virus / Spam

FLV Player Facebook App | a Virus / Spam

If you’ve been on Facebook for a while now, you won’t be surprised with lots of spamming illegitimate apps spreading on users’ wall.
This month alone, there is lots of annoying Facebook applications which were said to be a virus. And just today, another illegitimate app is spreading on Facebook, in which user’s wall is updated with a messy video entitled “Candid Camera Prank! [HQ]”.

Facebook fake FLV Player App

It’s NOT actually a video, but a link to an application called FLV Player. It’s just similar to the fake Winamp Facebook App that once clicked, will send an update to your friends, spreading all over to your friends’ network.

The said app is basically a virus, so if you notice it appears on your wall- simply remove it to prevent your friends from seeing it. Never attempt to click on the video or else you’ll spam your friends with the same wall update.
