Ever since Samsung unveiled the much hyped Galaxy S5 about two weeks ago during the Unpacked5 event at the 2014 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, a lot of people have already expressed their desire for the new Samsung flagship phone, as expected. Globe Telecom is the first telco in the country to announce that they are bringing the new Galaxy S5 through the pre-order page of the device on their website.
Although both Globe and Samsung are yet to disclose the official retail price of the Galaxy S5, as of writing, 675 people have already registered with Globe for the device. For those interested in registering for the Galaxy S5, you may now do so by heading to Globe’s SG S5 microsite (click here) and logging on with either your Facebook or Twitter account. With this, you can also see who among your online friends registered for Globe’s Galaxy S5 official launch and release.
And thanks to the countdown timer Globe has on the same pre-order page, we now know that their Galaxy S5 will officially be available in 32 days, or by April 10. Following Globe’s pricing scheme for the previous Galaxy S devices over the years, the S5 may come free on a 2 year postpaid account under the MySuper Plan 1799.
