Google Chrome 8 is Out, Now with Built-in PDF Viewer

The latest stable version of Google Chrome is now available for download. Google Chrome 8 (or 8.0.552.215) comes with built-in PDF viewer that works inside Chrome’s sandbox for increased security, more sync services, and improved plug-in handling.

The Chrome team is happy to announce our latest Stable release, 8.0.552.215. In addition to the over 800 bug fixes and stability improvements, Chrome 8 now contains a built in PDF viewer that is secured in Chrome’s sandbox. As always, it also contains our latest security fixes, listed below. This release will also be posted to the Beta Channel.

Existing users can download the latest version through browser update (Settings -> About Google Chrome). Or you can get the latest version from here. [via]
