This is an amazing feature first time I’ve ever seen on a search engine.
If you are using Google domains in the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Russia – you would probably notice a new way Google is displaying results as you search. The new feature is called Google Instant. Unlike Realtime search, Google Instant is a new search enhancement that shows results as you type.
The new feature will allow users to search faster, provide smarter predictions to know exactly what a user is looking for, and of course provide instant results without having to fully search the term and hitting return/enter key. It doesn’t impact the ranking of search results though, that means SEO is still not dead. Google Instant will be coming to mobile anytime soon.
Google Instant will be rolled out to all users over several days. If you are not seeing Google Instant in your location, you will need to sign in to your Google account. Among the web browsers supported include Google Chrome v5/6, Firefox v3, Safari v5 for Mac, and Internet Explorer v8. You can learn more about Google Instant here.
