Google’s DevFest 2016 set to attract over 1,000 IT enthusiasts, students

More than 1,000 programmers, digital experts, technology enthusiasts, and students signed up for Google Developer’s Group (GDG) DevFest 2016 to be held this Saturday, November 19, at SM Seaside City in Cebu.

The GDG DevFest is the biggest tech-conference in Visayas. This year’s turnout is the biggest so far in its five-year run, according to GDG Cebu community manager Shad Roi de la Cruz.

Participants can expect “speaker sessions across multiple product areas, all-day hackathons, code labs, and more,” according to the conference’s official website.

Key speakers in the one-day tech conference include Google representatives and experts on technology and digital innovation.

It is the perfect opportunity for developers and IT enthusiasts alike to immerse themselves in the technologies and other products offered by Google.
