GrabTaxi goes on Beta Testing in Cebu! Get Zero Booking Fee until May 10!

GrabTaxi, probably the fastest and the most popular taxi booking app for smartphones finally goes on Beta Testing here in Cebu. Currently available in other South East Asian countries like Singapore, Thaliand and Malaysia and in Metro Manila in the Country, GrabTaxi is expanding their reach here in the Queen City of the South.

Beta_Cebu_webAnd as part of GrabTaxi’s Beta Testing stage in Cebu, the company is offering Zero booking fees for anyone in Cebu. Yes, you’ve read it right, free booking fees on all your GrabTaxi rides, until May 10.

Normally, booking fees for a GrabTaxi ride costs Php 50 for Globe Users, and Php 70 for non-Globe users.


With a GrabTaxi app on your phone, you can easily avoid those long lines at Taxi Stands, especially during peak hours and go wherever, whenever you want to, across Cebu.

GrabTaxi is available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone and Blackberry devices.

    micab, a homegrown cebuano taxi dispatching app is also beta testing now in Cebu. I believe they got KEN Taxis as their partner. Also charges 10 peso instead of 70.
