HP is Back with Slate 6 VoiceTab and Slate 7 VoiceTab

In an attempt to reenter the smartphone market, then top PC maker HP unveiled today 2 new devices–the HP Slate 6 VoiceTab and the HP Slate 7 VoiceTab–headed straight to the Indian Market. More after the break.

HP Slate VoiceTab

The two phablets does not only look amazing, but they also pack promising specs under the hood. The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab comes with a 6 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) screen, while the Slate 7 VoiceTab comes with a 7 inch (1280 x 800 pixels) screen. Both phablets are powered with a 1GHz quad core Marvell PXA 1088 processor with Vivante GC1000 GPU, 16 GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card, 5 megapixel and 2 megapixel back and front cameras, 3G and Dual SIM and Android JellyBean 4.2.2 out-of-the-box.

HP Slate 6 VoiceTab

Although there’s no official word yet on pricing, it is said that the Slate 7 VoiceTab will carry a $199 price tag and $250 for the Slate 6 VoiceTab. Also, there’s no official word if these two tablets are coming to other markets. The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab and the Slate 7 VoiceTab will be available in India starting next month after HP’s launch event, together with the full detailed specs of these two new phablets.
