#1 Time Lapse and Camera Timer
With iOS 7 and iPhone 5S last year, Apple introduced a 120 fps video recording mode called Slo-Mo for its native camera app. Although this isn’t really new, it certainly is for iOS users. This year, Apple is introducing Slo-Mo’s counterpart — the Time Lapse. What it does is by tapping the record button, your phone takes a series of continuous photos and automatically stitches them together to produce a video in an accelerated sequence. Personally, I love shooting time lapse videos, especially whenever I’m traveling. With the Time Lapse on iOS 8, I can now delete other 3rd Party apps offering the same feature and free up space.
Another camera feature we like is the inclusion of a Timer mode. With this, you can now shoot that mainstream group selfie photos with a monopod straight from your camera app.
