An image render of the upcoming successor of HTC’s current flagship, the HTC One, surfaced the internet a couple of days ago, courtesy of an XDA member. Today, a leaked photo of what could be the HTC One 2 a.k.a M8 came out, looking exactly like the image render–at least the front panel.
Based on the image render above, the upcoming HTC One successor will sport dual back cameras with a dual LED flash. The M8 is also expected to flaunt a 4.9 to 5 inch 1080p display and a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 to 3 GB of RAM.
Both the image render and the leaked photo of the M8 posted below suggests on-screen navigation keys and LED notification light found on the middle of the earpiece and front camera module.
The HTC M8 is said to be officially unveiled by the Taiwanese company in New York City by the end of March. [via]
