Releasing a “mini” version of a company’s flagship phone is no brand new news for the mobile industry, as Samsung is very much known for releasing such, like the Galaxy S3 mini and the Galaxy S4 mini. As for HTC, there’s the HTC One mini. LG on the other hand teased everyone with what seems to be a mini version of their current flagship, the LG G2.

Through a facebook post, LG Mobile uploaded a photo collage showing 4 different objects (the last one being the LG G2) in grayscale, with a mini version beside it in a pink shade. Captioned as “Experience the MINI”, everyone is expecting that the Korean tech giant will officially unveil the LG G2 mini during the first day of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, happening at the end of the month.

Word have been circulating that the mini version of the current flagship is expected to sport a 4.7 inch display, a Snapdragon 800 processor and a RAM of 2 GB, although there’s no leaked info yet to support these speculations.

Good thing the unveiling is happening on February 24, so our wait on the LG G2 mini wouldn’t be that long. Stay tuned for more details, as well as for our coverage of the MWC 2014. [via]
