It’s a rarity for us these days to hear news on a new smartphone release with a keyboard–well, except for Blackberry, but then again, their last release of a phone with a keyboard was over 5 months ago with the 9720 Samoa. But, a leaked photo of an LG phone surfaced the web, packing a slide-out keyboard.
In a tweet by @evleaks today, a leaked press photo of the upcoming LG Optimus F3Q headed to T-Mobile USA surfaced, making fans of smartphones with keyboards very much thrilled. Expected to head to the entry level market, the Optimus F3Q features a 4 inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA 480p touch screen display powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and comes with a 5 megapixel back camera. The phone also ships with Android JellyBean 4.1 out-of-the-box with a 2460 mAh battery. There’s no front facing camera here for those selfies, nor the RAM or the inclusion of a LED flash for the camera was even mentioned.
We’ll give an update for the official specs, pricing and availability of the LG Optimus F3Q Android QWERTY phone as it gets official unveiled by T-Mobile USA — of course, for our readers particularly from the US. [via]
