Tomorrow, May 9th, every one of us will celebrate Mother’s Day.
You would probably think of giving something as a gift like electronic gadgets or even just sending simple quotes and greetings via SMS or through their social networking accounts like Facebook and Twitter. Below is a collection of great quotes you can send to them, which I think better than giving anything else like gadgets.
“Few misfortunes can befall a boy which brings worse consequences than to have a really affectionate mother.”
“No matter how old a mother is, she watches her middle-aged children for signs of improvement.”
“Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.”
“It would seem that something which means poverty, disorder and violence every single day should be avoided entirely, but the desire to beget children is a natural urge.”
“A man loves his sweetheart the most; his wife the best, but his mother the longest.”
“Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.”
“The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.”
“Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn, Hundreds of bees in the purple clover, Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn, but only one mother the wide world over.”
“Making a decision to have a child–it’s momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.”
Writing a poem is also a great idea, or if you like, sending them an e-card via email like the one below.
If you are into photo editing, make use of Adobe products like Photoshop (be it Adobe CS5 or earlier versions) and design or edit your photo with your mother, and then send it to her.
Aren’t those simple ideas great? How about you? What you are going to do with your Mom on Mother’s Day? Teaching her to learn blogging? hehe… Whatever it is, let’s talk about it in the comment section.
