Here’s good news for Mac users. Microsoft has already announced that versions of MS Office for Mac 2011 will be available in October this year. No specific date though, but the good thing is Mac users will enjoy using it before this year ends.
MS Office for Mac 2011 will come in two versions: Home and Student Edition, and Home and Business Edition. Home and Student edition will be packed with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Messenger; while Home and Business edition has an additional email client, MS Outlook (aside from the programs aforementioned).
MS Office for Mac 2011 Prices:
Home and Student Edition (single installation) – $119
Home and Student Edition (three installations) – $149
Home and Business Edition (single installation) – $199
Home and Business Edition (two installations) – $279
Microsoft will also offer an academic edition (MS Office for Mac Academic 2011) for only $99, featuring Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Messenger. However, this edition will only be available to higher-education students, staff, and faculty.
Here’s the good news for those who haven’t purchased MS Office 2008 yet. Microsoft will offer free upgrade to the 2011 versions provided users will buy Office 2008 starting today until November 30, 2010. You can buy MS Office for Mac 2008 using the links below:
