We all know Samsung as a global company for innovations that are shaping the way we use technology on a daily basis. But we also know the korean tech giant as the company who loves making new chic variants of their previously released smartphones.
Last week, we reported about the red Galaxy S4 La Fleur coming by March despite the announcement of the upcoming Galaxy S5 flagship happening very soon. And now, a new variant of of the current Galaxy S4 flagship saw daylight, thanks to Samsung Russia.
Dubbed as the Galaxy S4 Black Edition, the device sports the same faux leather found on the back side of the bigger Galaxy Note 3. The specs are pretty much the same as the I9505 variant: 1.9GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 processor, 13 megapixel main camera plus LTE. There’s also the Black Edition for the S4 Mini, sporting the exact same features found on the I9190 model.
The Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini Black Editions are expected to go on sale in Russia, and hopefully in other markets as well, come February, priced at RUB 23,00 ($660 or under Php 30k) and RUB 16,000 ($460 or under Php 21k), respectively.
As for the LaFleur line, Samsung announced 3 additional romantically themed smartphones just in time for Valentine’s day: the Galaxy Core LaFleur, Galaxy Trent LaFleur and the Galaxy Fame Lite LaFleur. Announced earlier this week in Russia, these devices are now available together with the bigger Galaxy S4 and S4 mini LaFleur.
Among the LaFleur line, the Fame Lite device is the only one donning a white plastic body, instead of the red paint job found on the other models. Specs are the same as their global counter parts. Pricing are yet to be disclosed, but these LaFleur devices are expected to also hit Asian and European markets soon. [via 1 and 2]
