Update: Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 Official Specs and Philippine Price
The image above shows what is claimed as the Samsung S5830, in which at first glance would resemble the looks of the iPhone 4, or perhaps the little brother of Galaxy S. But nope, it didn’t beat the SoPhone 4 if we’re going to talk scrupulous copying of the iPhone!
Flaunting a 3.5 HVGA display, the S5830 is powered by an 800 MHz processor on Android 2.2.1. There’s the 3.5mm audio jack on the top, the speaker at the center-top, a home-button, a slot on the right side (perhaps for memory) and another button beside it (Volume control?). Other purported specs include a 5MP auto-focus camera with LED Flash and HD video recording, Wi-Fi, and micro-USB slot. There’s another Samsung trademark at the back, but there’s no Google logo just yet. It’s required for Android devices if you don’t mind J.
The folks in Thailand are calling the S5830 as the Samsung Galaxy Cooper, and since it’s just 29 days more to go (as of this writing) before the next MWC- let’s just see if this bad boy shows up and what official name it gets. Stay tuned!
