Smartbro Share-It Review and Speedtest

Smartbro Share-It Review and Speedtest

Just recently, I made a review of Smartbro Plan 999 unlimited internet using the Canopy.
I’m using it now as my new broadband internet connection. I actually first applied for the Share-It WiFi Router plan early this year, but was unlucky to get one.

However, I asked a favor from a friend to conduct the speedtest using his ShareIt Wi-Fi Router. Smartbro Share-It by the way, is also a plan 999 broadband internet from Smart Communications. This plan offers subscribers with an internet speed of up to 2 Mbps, unlimited. It utilizes a wireless connection via Wi-Fi router. Previously, Smart charged the cost of router to the subscribers- but new applicants will get the router for free. The total initial payment for the first month is Php 999, with a lock-in period of 24 months.

The Speedtest

Using the broadband speedtest service of, the result was kinda promising to those who are using and to those who are wishing to get this type of connection. Using internet explorer, the average download speed from Tokyo and Singapore server was 2.896 Mbps and the upload speed was 0.28 Mbps. The average ping response on both servers was 296.33 ms.

The speedtest results shown above doesn’t always guarantee to be the same. You still have to consider your location and the time you are going to use the internet. This test was conducted in Liloan, Cebu around 8AM.
