Last year, Sony wowed everyone in the tablet making industry when they released the ultra thin Xperia Tablet Z. Although the Xperia Tablet Z did not perform that well in terms of sales compared to Apple’s iPad, Samsung’s Galaxy and Note tablet line or the Google Nexus 7, the Xperia Tablet Z is still a heavyweight tablet specs wise and is also an eye candy.
In a tweet sent by @evleaks, the successor of the 6.9 mm thin tablet may be looking at a 2014 Mobile World Congress happening in Barcelona, Spain by the end of the month.
Rumored to be dubbed as the Xperia Tablet Z2, the tablet is speculated to sport a quad core processor, a 3 GB of RAM and a screen size of 10.1 inches. There’s also an 8 megapixel camera on the back, 2 megapixel on the front and ships with Android Kitkat 4.4 out of the box. The devices measures at an impressively thin 6.5 mm body, living up to the name of its predecessor.
On top of that, the Xperia Tablet Z2 is expected to be Waterproof, again, just like its predecessor, as well as Sony’s Xperia Z1 flagship phone and the Z1 compact.
