Google Launches Street View in PH, Colorful Cars Ready to Shoot Panoramic Images of Metro Manila!

Google’s Maps app has been around for quite sometime, and is probably the most used online maps service compared to its main competitors, Microsoft’s Bing Maps and Apple Maps because of its features, reliability and accuracy. And last Tuesday, the global tech and search giant Google has announced the launch of  Street View in the Philippines.

Google Street View started in the US since 2007, and since then, it has been a favorite feature found on Google Maps and Google Earth. As the name suggests, Street View takes you to the streets of your favorite cities, across 50 countries wherever it is supported. Through the efforts and initiative of the Department of Tourism, Google is bringing the favorite feature to the country to let potential foreign tourists experience the streets of Manila, as well as other Philippine tourist destinations without leaving the comfort of their homes, before actually heading to the country.
