Canadian-based telecommunications manufacturer then-known as Research In Motion (RIM) recently came out with a new Blackberry device under the leadership of their new CEO John Chen in attempt to get back…
Just recently, we’ve been tipped off that the BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry’s new QWERTY smartphone rocking the latest BlackBerry 10 platform, will officially land in the Philippines on June 7th with a SRP of Php 31,990. Needless to say, the Q10 got a bit of a hefty retail price that it could hardly sell in time of its launch, when consumers are more likely to shell out on tuition fees first (or perhaps laptops?) than on other gadgets. It’s almost back to school, eh?
If that’s the case, don’t fret though as this QWERTY phone will be exclusively available at Globe Telecom for a month since the official launch date, by June 7th that is. The BlackBerry Q10 will be available for free at Globe’s Plan 1499, which falls under the telco’s MySuperPlan 999, with a monthly cashout of Php 500 over the usual 24-month contract period. Bundled on this Plan includes an unlimited LTE surfing of up to 42 Mbps (at least for supported locations) and a monthly consumable peso-value amount which can be converted to avail of call, text and surfing combo services. Still ain’t a good deal for you? Head over here and see which Plan is perfect for your budget. (more…)
Still can’t decide whether to get a postpaid plan or not from Globe Telecom for its offering of RIM’s latest BlackBerry Curve smartphone? Well, perhaps you’d be glad to hear the telco is now offering the BlackBerry Curve 9220 in prepaid kit! But if you would still prefer the much cheaper and older BlackBerry Curve 8520, yet still offers a powerful multimedia and social networking experience – Globe Telecom also has it on its BlackBerry prepaid kit lineup as well.
The presser says Globe subscribers can avail of a BlackBerry Curve 9220 prepaid package for P9,990, while the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is available for a much cheaper P6,990 price tag. Both of these prepaid packages comes with a Globe Prepaid SIM, free three (3) months of BlackBerry Chat subscription offering users unlimited access to BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), and a premium BlackBerry smartphone skin for free.
