Globe Telecom announced two weeks ago that it will launch commercially its next generation broadband service this month called LTE or Long Term Evolution. LTE, or 4G LTE as we see it in marketing materials, is the next big thing in the mobile industry as it offers high-speed data for smartphones and tablets, theoretically, with up to 100Mbps downlink. But like with the earlier generations of network technologies, specifically its predecessors 3G, HSPA, and HSPA+, several internet dongle devices can also capitalize on 4G LTE.
Today, Globe Telecom announced its first internet dongles to support the telco’s much-anticipated 4G LTE network, and it’s called Tattoo Black. And even before the official launch of its LTE service, Globe Telecom has already made its plan pricing details available to the public. The Tattoo Black will be available in two data Plan options: Tattoo Black Plan 1799 and Tattoo Black Elite 2499. (more…)
