Nokia’s New Phones from MWC 2013: Lumia 520 and 720; Nokia 301 and 105

Nokia disclosed recently its newest smartphone models and innovations at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Special highlights were Nokia Lumia 720, Nokia Lumia 520, Nokia 105, and Nokia 301, plus new feature innovations on HERE maps, imaging, navigation, and entertainment. In the limelight was the introduction of Nokia Lumia 720 with its high-end features made available to more of Nokia’s crowd, everything at mid-range price. Image enhancements are made better for stunning results and easy sharing, and that includes the Cinemagraph, Glam Me, and Smart Shoot. (more…)

Nokia is one of the exhibitors of such big annual event in the mobile industry, yet we still have no idea what the Finnish phone maker will unveil next. My theory though is the company will announce another Windows Phone to add on its portfolio, or perhaps its developments and future plans for Symbian OS. Well, while we’re waiting what Nokia has in store for us on MWC – let’s revisit once again what I personally believe one of the best Windows Phones available today, the Nokia Lumia 800. (more…)

The Philippines was once named as the “Social Networking Capital of the World”, and the country being a “Nokia nation” – that would explain why social networking and messenger apps topped the list of popular applications downloaded from the Nokia Store in 2011. In addition to that, not only for a reason that most of these types of apps are free; but because Filipinos can leverage the services built to such apps and are perfect solutions to stay connected through the internet with the people they care most.
Below is a complete list of the most downloaded free apps from Nokia Store in the Philippines: (more…)
