Sony to Launch Xperia S in Cebu Tomorrow

It’s official! Sony will launch its new Xperia smartphones at the Radisson Blu hotel tomorrow. The company had already showcased these devices in Manila last week so we already have an idea what exactly to expect.

The star of the show would be Sony’s new flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia S, which will debut in the city through a special exhibition at the Cyberzone starting tomorrow until May 2nd. This is open for public viewing so you guys will be able to experience this device at launch. HTC Philippines to Launch HTC One Smartphones in Cebu Today!

As much as I’m excited to tell you that HTC Philippines will launch the duo of its HTC One smartphones here in Cebu tonight, I’m surprised the company is bringing the same atmosphere when it holds product launch events in the North.

I mean, since its inception HTC has been a popular brand that offers handsets not only with stunning hardware specs, but also with sexy and gorgeous designs. And launching its products with absolutely gorgeous models showing off the handsets under colorful lights and fabulous beats, complemented with foods and overflowing drinks – it could only mean just one thing: It’s BIG! You Can Now Talk to Globe Telecom CSR in Cebuano / Visayan

Globe Telecom, in partnership with Aegis People Support and Tech Mahindra, announced on Wednesday its new hotline dedicated for Visayan-speaking customers.

This new hotline provides customer services for mobile, landline, and broadband products — basically, using the local Visayan language Cebuano, making Globe Telecom the first company in the Philippine telecommunications industry to offer trilingual customer hotline service (in addition to English and Tagalog). The new service uses Globe’s dedicated Visayan Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System, which directs Visayan customers to talk in their own language. (more…)
