Samsung Galaxy S5 AnTuTu Benchmark Reveals No Snapdragon 805 Processor
The Galaxy S5 is believed to get its official unveiling during Samsung’s Unpacked 5 Event happening on the first day of the Mobile World Congress, February 24, in Barcelona, Spain. With this, another info about the upcoming successor to the Galaxy S4 surfaced and this time, an AnTuTu Benchmark giving us a clear look on what specs to expect for the Galaxy S5.
A series of screenshots posted by HDblog, unconfirmed specs of the Galaxy S5 has been detailed which may leave a number of hopefuls for the device disappointed, if found true. Everyone is expecting to see Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor on the S5, but, according to the leaked screenshot, it will sport the current Snapdragon 800 chip, clocked at 2.5GHz. Now this sounds really plausible, as a Qualcomm Executive mentioned during last month’s CES 2014 event that the first device to sport the Snapdragon 805 will come on May.
