Ultrasn0w for iOS 4.2.1 to Unlock Baseband 5.14.02 on iPhone 3G and 3GS, coming this Sunday

So this is going to be good news for iPhone 3G and 3GS users. Some of you have probably been waiting for the release of the next updated version of Ultrasn0w to unlock baseband 5.14.02 that comes with iOS 4.1.
Well, I guess you are excited to hear this.

Ultrasn0w unlock for iOS 4.2.1 will be available this Sunday, according to a lead member of the Dev Team, @MuscleNerd.

Good progress today…everything is on track for updated ultrasn0w by Sunday/Funday at the latest (longer for iPhone4!)

The updated version of Ultrasn0w, a.k.a Ultrasn0w for iOS 4.2.1, is capable to unlock baseband 5.14.02 that was shipped with iOS 4.1 and is also believed to unlock baseband 5.15.04 that was shipped with iOS 4.2.1. The update will only work for iPhone 3G and 3GS users. iPhone 4 users may still wait longer as the Dev Team still working on the solution to unlock baseband 2.10.04.

Earlier today, iPhone 4 unlockers are warned not to update to iOS 4.2.1 as of the moment after a “baseband check” was discovered when a user try to restore to iOS 4.2.1. Stay tuned!
