A Taiwan-based company, Compro Technology Inc., through its local distributor Advance 2000 sent us a review unit of one of its latest HD Network Camera series – the Compro IP60 Network Camera.
The Compro IP60 is a plug-and-play network camera that is ideal as a surveillance solution in small businesses, hotels, shops, restaurants, or in your own home. An upgrade to last year’s IP55 camera, the IP60 now offers H.264 video compression to stream HD videos and it has also been integrated with Seedonk technology so the camera can be accessed remotely via Seedonk platform.
Unboxing the Compro IP60 Network Camera
So what we got inside the box includes the Network Camera itself, the RJ-45 LAN Cable, 5V/2A Power Adaptor, Quick Start Guide, Installation CD, and a set of Screw Anchors and Screws for Ceiling Mount.
This is the first time I’ve seen the actual Compro IP camera and I’m very excited to test this product, but unfortunately I’ll have the full review published next week. For now though I’ll be using this as surveillance at home while we’re heading for a getaway ‘till the rest of the Holy Week.
The Compro IP cameras have already been around locally for quite some time now and I’m wondering if any of CTB readers here are using it? I’m sure everyone here would love to hear your thoughts – so just leave a comment below.
