Jailbreakers, you got to love hearing this yourself!

Those who have been running the latest version of iOS yet still keep their iDevices untouched or those who indulged themselves either with a tethered or semi-tethered jailbreak as a partial satisfaction will now have a reason to rejoice as the much-anticipated (at least for some) untethered jailbreak is now out for download, thanks to the iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team – most especially to @pod2g, the man behind the new userland exploits.
The new untethered jailbreak works with the latest firmware iOS 5.0.1 on Apple’s A4 devices, meaning it supports the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, and the first-gen iPad. iPhone 4S and iPad 2 (aka A5 devices) aren’t supported just yet; however, @pod2g is said to have been working on it, in fact – just few days ago he handed over his untethered jailbreak to both iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team so he can focus working for another untethered jailbreak and that’s for A5 devices.
@pod2g’s untethered jailbreak is packed on Redsn0w 0.9.10b2 for OS X and Redsn0w 0.9.10b2 for Windows (this is recommended for new users), or if you already got a tethered jailbroken iOS 5.0.1 running in your device – you just need to access Cydia, and then download and install the Corona 5.0.1 Untether package.
