With the CES 2014 over and done, and Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress, aka, MWC 2014 just in the corner, a new phone surfaced the internet–a Sony phone that seems to be the successor of the company’s flagship Z1.
Courtesy of iRimas at XDA Forum, the upcoming Sony D6503 looks a lot like the Z1, except that the former comes with a thinner side bezels. The phone flaunts a 5.2 inch screen, with the micro USB port, sim tray and lanyard eyelet on the left side while the micro SD slot is placed on the right. As for the placement of the power button, dedicated camera key, volume rockers, LED notification light, magnetic pins and the headphone jack are similar to that of the Z1.
The Sony Xperia D6503 is said to sport the same camera sensor found on the Z1 and the Z1 compact as well, a 20.7 megapixel back snapper. Well update this post for more specs, details, availability and pricing on this phone as it gets announced soon. [via]
