Today is the Sinulog Festival here in Cebu City. Sinulog is one of the biggest festivals in the Philippines celebrated on the third Sunday of January every year. Quoting Wikipedia, Sinulog Festival “commemorates the “pagan” origin of the Cebuano people and their acceptance of the Roman Catholicism.”
CTB is a truly-blooded Cebuano and I must say that it’s really a different atmosphere when you’re watching the event live. And I believe some of CTB readers here, particularly those from Cebu and the Philippines, also thought the same. This year’s Sinulog Festival can be viewed in local TV channels, but if it’s difficult for you guys to watch it – there’s also an online stream which I embedded below.
