Why Google is Growing?

Why Google is Growing?

Google has been challenged by its rival in the search industry.
From Microsoft and Yahoo partnership, Microsoft and Nokia deal, and the Open Book Alliance issue- all of these might be intimidating Google. But, have you ever observed that Google is GROWING? Yes, Google is growing. By the way, I will not talk something financial here! Just a sort of introduction…

Anyway, if you have logged on to Google today- you would observe something different on the search giant. Something that is bigger. Want to guess what is that BIG thing?

Google Homepage is Bigger

Well, if you can’t guess- just continue reading so this post will make sense. LOL… If you’ve noticed, Google’s new homepage is still clean and simple. It’s still an Ads-free homepage. I will not wonder why some users won’t notice the changes because of the simplest knitting homepage style. What is new on Google’s homepage is the size of the search box. As I’ve said, it’s GROWING! Googlers called this as the SUPERSized Google search.

This is a very simple initiative from Google. The new and larger Google search box is featuring larger text when you type. This is to let you see your query more clearly. Google search is also using now a larger text size for the suggestions that appear below the search box. So, it would be easier for you to select one of the possible refinements every time you query. According to Google, over the past 11 years- they’ve made a number of changes to the homepage. Some are small and some are large. But in this case, it’s a small change that makes search more prominent!

Keep on Googling, Googlers!
