Windows 8 is for Real, Available by 2012!

So when was the last time you’ve heard about Windows 8? When sample concept has been posted in YouTube? Back in June this year, several details of Windows 8 have been leaked to the web.
However, the authenticity of the leak was not confirmed by the software giant. Not until when its sister site in Netherlands published a blog a year after Windows 7 general retail went public. It reads:

The first update of Windows 7 is the new version of Windows Live Essentials (explore.live.com) became available in mid-June. Furthermore, Microsoft is of course the next version of Windows. But it will take about two years before “Windows 8” on the market.

We know that it will be coming in 2012. It’s a constant pattern; Microsoft releases new operating system every 3 years. What we don’t know is the name of the successor of Windows 7. Now at least we’ve got its name. Microsoft might officially be calling it as Windows 8!
