Yahoo Users can already Sign-up Google Services using OpenID

This is good news for Yahoo! users… Google announced that starting today; Yahoo! users won’t be required anymore to complete a lengthy process in activating sign-ups for new accounts of Google services.

Instead, Google will be using an Internet standard called OpenID – which is supported by several email providers, making sign-ups verification easier and simpler.
