YouTube Play: A Biennial of Creative Video, Live at Guggenheim

The clock is ticking. In the next few hours, you are going to witness which videos will top the short list from the entries for YouTube Play: A Biennial of Creative Video, which aims to discover and showcase the most exceptional talent working in the growing realm of online video.

From more than 23,000 videos submitted from 91 countries, 125 videos have been shortlisted and can now be seen at

YouTube Play: Introducing the Shortlist Video

Today, at 8PM ET, YouTube Play will be streamed live from the Guggenheim Museum, New York, as the jury will reveal and present the top 20 videos from the short listed 125 entries. There will be a simultaneous streaming at YouTube Play channel and at the Guggenheim museums in Berlin, Bilbao, and Venice.

YouTube Play: A Biennial of Creative Video has been developed by YouTube and Guggenheim Museum in collaboration with HP to attract innovative, original, and surprising videos from around the world- regardless of genre, technique, background, or budget.

After the event, the selected videos will be displayed at the Guggenheim Museum in NY from October 22 to 24.
